Inspired by my own journey to loving myself, this brand was created as a manifestation of the lessons I’ve learned. Akmē was created with the intention of sharing the joy of self-love in a tangible way.
I was challenged to create a strategy that leverages the brand’s personality and purpose. Using research and analysis, I was able to position the brand amongst rising competitors.
Akmē’s name derives from the idea of the point at which someone or something is best, perfect, or most successful. This can be defined as your “best self” or your “highest self.”

Jasmine Silang lives and works on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mazina'iga-ziibing Misi-zaagiwininiwag (Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation), the ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᒃ (Anishnaabeg), the ᐅᒋᑉᐧᐁ (ᒋᑉᐯᐧᐊ) (Chippewa), the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.
